About

MUDEC × IED: Travelogue was a collaborative exhibition project developed by IED Milano in connection with MUDEC’s exhibition Travelogue.

22 international students created a multilingual poster series exploring the idea of “Travel” through personal, cultural, and emotional perspectives. The final works were installed along a 70-meter wall on Via Ventimiglia in Milan, turning the street into an outdoor visual diary.

An Attempt to Find Yourself

Personal Poster 1/3

The poster approaches travel as a process of self-understanding. The maze becomes a visual metaphor for uncertainty, confusion, and losing direction, presenting these moments as part of the journey where self-discovery can begin.

A Journey of Discovery

Personal Poster 2/3

The concept reframes travel as discovery rather than distance. Arrows are used as the main visual element, representing direction, movement, and choice. They show the journey as a process of noticing small details and deciding which path to follow.

In Search of Balance

Personal Poster 3/3

Travel is presented as a search for balance between memory, emotion, beauty, and the unknown. The mobile sculpture reflects this idea through movement and instability. Even the smallest shift changes its position, just as life is constantly shaped by changing events and new directions.
